Dad and I set up a darkroom using the kitchen sink and dining room table, leaving Mom in the dark on winter evenings when I was in junior high.
In 1985 I received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of South Dakota. Throughout the 1990s I worked as a pioneer in the field of journalistic wedding and portrait photography.
Currently I do art, stock photography and child portraits in Conway, Arkansas.
